Tool Description:

The MX600 is a full-featured modular networking display station based on the i960 CA 32-bit superscalar RISC processor operating at 33 MHz. The MX600 motherboard provides the processor, memory (DRAM, EPROM, NVRAM), serial ports and parallel port. It also provides eight slots for daughtercards.

4 SIMM Sockets (Up to 128 MB DRAM), 2 KB NVRAM, Up to 1 MB EPROM

4 Serial Ports, Centronics-Style Printer Port

Programmable Interval Timer (82C54)

Software includes support for VxWorks Real-Time Kernel, X11R5 (Both Client & Server), DECnet

Daughtercards Available: - Color Frame Buffer w/1280x1024 and 1024 x 768 Display Formats. - Ethernet w/82596, AUI and Thin EthernetConnectors. - 8 bit SCSI-2 w/NCR53C710
